"Lindell Dreaming", acrylic on canvas, 24" x 30", 2017 Sold

A commissioned painting for a couple living at Lindell beach at Cultus lake. It's a view of the lake looking north, transformed by memories of what that shoreline of the lake once looked like, trees where there are no trees (but once were), a dock that seems to be a spring board to Mt. Cheam, a sense of heightened light - all inviting the viewer into the realm of memory and dream.

It's always interesting to me as an artist to create paintings that are informed by more than just what we see in reality. Though I rarely take on commissions, this is one that drew me in.
