This painting is the result of spending time and caring for my 95 yr old dad. The composition was inspired by the view from his place in Whiterock BC looking South West towards the Gulf Islands & Vancouver Island. When I'm there I take over his dining room and set up a makeshift studio. It's definitely different than working in my studio at Cultus Lake. So grateful to still have my dad in my life and to share my art making with him. He's an inspiration. |
