Fern Figure 2, "Still Learning", wire, fern fronds, moss, lights, 38" tall x 30" wide x 30" deep, 2024
The latest piece in the Fern Figure sculpture series sits atop a large Hemlock stump in the forest where I live. The figure is holding a book of moss surrounded by a grove of young Cedar trees. This piece is an exercise in actualization.
